They recently guest vocalised on Dorian Electra’s not at all queer anthem “My Agenda”. So it’s a bit disheartening to hear they’re playing for Trump.

This game is a bundle of oddly wholesome nostalgia for me. Beware the obatarian!

I hear you. I have no real comfort for you beyond things can change for the better if you just live long. I’m oldish, and it’s been a roller coaster of staying one step ahead of poverty, moving 17
times, weird health issues, the usual. BUT long stretches of extreme stress are not always permanent.

Language learning sims were trolled (sometimes out of existence) by one griefer and his hundreds of alts over more than a decade. And LL did nothing despite the complaints. It should be no wonder brand new avis are mistrusted in some places.

Yep. I’ll visit ‘popular’ clubs and find crowds of unmoving, silent avis and not even host chatter in local. I doubt Linden Lab will do anything, though (as long as club owners are paying rent)…

There are plenty of anti-science and anti-corporate conspiracy theories that find homes on the left (e.g. “big pharma knows how to cure cancer, but won’t tell us because it’s unprofitable”), plus loads of unscientific new age woo nonsense.

I like the national system in Japan. Every school is funded equally depending on the amount of students. Although this is not reactive to local needs in certain cases, it does ensure that poor neighborhoods get decent lot funded schools.

I’m a Welcome Hub mentor, and I approve this avi…

I honestly think this isn’t a bad idea. Would this also block out our dots on the local mini-map?
January 2, 2025 at 1:00 AM
Yep. The language education sims I’ve volunteered on have had to deal with griefers and stalkers - who are unfortunately very creative at bypassing security measures - for years, and L.L. has been less than responsive.

Yep, I feel ya. Half the edgy “dreamwave” I buy on Bandcamp is just recycled ‘80s new age synth pap and weather channel smooth jazz recycled with vinyl pops.
