And, on a more personal note, to me, she was the love of my life. The FUNNIEST person I had ever met. Immensely sweet, ever-present and just caring. Talking into the wee hours of the morning just chatting, unironically engaging in the "no you hang up" a handful of times. Enjoying games together, watching shows and movies together, and our one, magical IRL meetup for 10 wonderful days during FWA last year. The memories from that brief stint were some of the happiest I've had, and I'm beyond overjoyed that I was able to have them. I am devastated.
Lia was one of the best people. Period.
Her capacity for kindness was as boundless as her work-ethic. So many of my favorite memories involve her in some way and I'm truly blessed to have known her as well as I did.
