Duke is done! I decided to give him a slight brow line because the previous iteration was bothering me a bit lol. I’m happy with how this turned out. There are still some things about his design that I want to play around with. But this is a good start 🦈

WIP: Duke full body
Slowly but surely we’re getting there. I’m comfortable with the shape of the head, torso, and arms so far (might smooth out some of the definition on the chest). Next will be the hands before moving on to sculpting the legs, feet and tail.

Art Study:
Here’s my first attempt at a plantigrade foot. The toes could use some more detail, but my goal through these is to start with a base understanding of the anatomy. Otherwise I’ll end up spending hours to perfecting something minor.

Finished with the dragon hand! Using the curve modifier for the individual scales really saved a bunch of time. I feel like I got a good grasp of the proportions, so I think I’m going to move on to legs and feet after this.
