Covid completely changed comics. It slowly destroyed Diamond.

Slowly publishers jumped from something that fought long & hard to maintain a monopoly & it’s on deaths door.

Two big things haunt themselves & other similar businesses.

Amazon open the can of worms on quick, immediate shipping & every place is expected to match that with a sliver of the resources & are unfairly shamed when they don’t.

IST is something I’m always slightly careful to complain about because I’ve seen people who work try to be open & vocal on how things work. In Short, they try as hard as they can as a group of a dozen-ish people to keep things going. Despite customer demands & distribution constantly changing.

Discounts they’re slowly getting forced out of having on top of that.
