I've been sent lots of videos and photos of grateful recipients, as well as tales of packages being delivered by the postman and torn open by the cats before their humans could get there.

I only do little things now - catnip toys and dolls' clothes. And children's mittens and baby hats. Haven't the patience for anything else!

I bought a book of little Christmas knits and this is one of them. It's turned out just like the pic in the book, so it's clearly a good pattern.

I know Pimms and lemonade is traditional, but I prefer it with tonic - less sweet. A Pimms/Prosecco cocktail is fab - slips down like pop, but the hangover!!!

I never got the taste. I liked vodka and Pimms but even the smell of brandy, whisky etc I find repugnant. My OH, now - a whole different story!

I'm not a fan of spirits. I buy cheapo brandy for the cake (and the mincemeat) so that my OH doesn't drink it.

I do! I love Christmas cake. That combination of the fruit cake, the marzipan and the soft royal icing. Mmmmm hmmmm.

So very sorry. I left a school after a breakdown. I still can't bring myself to go near it, more than 20yrs later.

We were tucked away safe and pretty much unaffected but I saw the impact on others. Don't know how anyone in their right mind could or would defend it.

I'm aghast at the cost of postage. £3.50 to send a card to the EU. And 87p 2nd class, £1.70 1st class (which doesn't always get there quicker). As for parcel costs... They're driving people away.
