My wife & I have advanced to identifying calls in our bird nerding. We were in the parking lot at a pizza joint in a strip mall for a family members birthday and we both looked at each other. She said, “Do you hear that?” And we both exclaimed, “Golden-crowned sparrow!” It’s the absolute best hobby.
