As Serwer says, the goal is obviously to roll back any kind of affirmative action and enable discrimination on the false pretext that it’s already happening to them. That’s all it is.

The people who claim to have experienced this all just happen to have flawless resumes, a well above average IQ and just happen to “know” they are more qualified than anyone else. I’m not saying they’re all lying, but I’m not sure how to finish this sentence.

The thing about this is that he was both substantially more right about 2016 than most *and* more honest about what he got wrong. I’ve never really been a fan but his brain got broken sometime after this.

I remember a twitter thread from someone talking about how speeding fines disproportionately affected Blacks and other low income earners and it turned out he was just mad his (very white, very not low income) mother kept getting speeding fines.

Even if you don’t know anyone who’s had their lives ruined, it’s pretty indisputably made the whole sports fan experience significantly worse. You just can’t get away from it even if you don’t care.
