Thanks to the McDonnell Center for Systems Neuroscience for providing seed funding for a new project that aims at understanding the etiology of environmental stress induced seizures in Drosophila. In collaboration with the Huang lab (sites.wustl.edu/huanglab/).

Now that all my milkweed plants are done for the winter, I can sadly reflect on tne fact that for the first time in five years, we didn’t find a single monarch caterpillar munching on them all summer.
