Just some British guy who wants some 2015 nostalgia. 🏳️‍🌈🇵🇸🇺🇦
Because this country isn’t in the same position it was in during 1997. Blair at the very least had the benefit of inheriting an EU powerhouse which was going through rough times. Starmer on the other hand is re-arranging chairs on the titanic and isn’t helping anyone
April 22, 2025 at 6:20 PM
I never said Man City fans ever did because I agree, it’s your club at the end of the day. But my point was being backed by a literal government is and will always be un-ethical to sporting competition. And Liverpool buying VVD 6 years ago doesn’t change that 😂
March 18, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Absolutely not, at the end of the day what’s the big difference between Tory corruption and Labour corruption? Starmer himself used private health donations as an attack point on Bo-Jo in the 2019 GE, it’s pure hypocrisy.
March 18, 2025 at 5:53 PM
I really hope I am, but I assure you it really isn’t out of the realms of possibility that I’m right.

Again I’ll ask you the same question: with everything going on in the US why is Starmers policy geared towards impressing Trump by cutting foreign aid and now this?
March 18, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Just take a second to look up Curtis Yarvin and then look up certain Labour peers who are very enthusiastic about Doge. They want disabled people dead, very simply
March 18, 2025 at 4:12 PM
I really don’t think you do, look at what’s happening in the US at the moment and think about why Starmer hasn’t been harsh on dealing with Trump. I’m not trying to be alarmist but people like you have to wise up to what is happening.
March 18, 2025 at 4:01 PM
You can’t just say there will be a “pathway to work” and call it a day. The job market is already horrendous and Starmer seems to want to sack a load more of civil service employees.
Employers generally don’t want to take on disabled people anyways. Labour don’t have a scooby on what they’re doing
March 18, 2025 at 3:59 PM
As with anything welfare related, the people who don’t want to work will always find ways around and the honest people who need support will be the ones who will lose support and be at risk of passing through the cracks. And as we saw under austerity that will kill people
March 18, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Maybe time to check your reading glasses Albert mate because the article doesn’t mention that at all. Might be choking on your own farts
March 17, 2025 at 7:43 PM
And yes Albert, being funded by a petro state is a big ethical issue. That is money that has been stolen from a class of indentured slaves to be laundered in the UK. All billionaires are horrible but the UAE takes the cake
March 17, 2025 at 7:40 PM
Historically when Salah has been out through injury or Afcon Liverpool have been fine. One player shouldn’t make or break your season, Liverpool still won the cup last year without him. You can look it up for yourself.
March 17, 2025 at 7:34 PM
This is a good article but I’d pay attention to the end of it. English football is hyper-competitive now, you can’t win 90+ points in a season so easily anymore. If anything this slip has shown how good Liverpool have been this season to build the lead they have.
March 17, 2025 at 7:22 PM
Idk how you can be so anti-Trump based on your profile and not see how being funded by a Arab government could be an ethical issue in terms of competitiveness.

If every club has injuries then why aren’t City and Arsenal winning the league this year?
March 17, 2025 at 7:18 PM
2/2 The cup final could have gone a lot better but we’ve also had serious injuries to our defence but you don’t hear about them because Liverpool have got on fine with adapting this season without Gomez, Trent, Allison and Bradley. Just so happened Newcastle took advantage of it. Stop the bs
March 17, 2025 at 2:07 PM
Pure waffle Albert mate. City have had unlimited resources and have only won 1 champions league, Slot took over a team in transition where everybody was saying we’d fall off without Klopp and has smashed all expectations. We played terrible and still nearly beat possibly the best PSG side ever 1/2
March 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM
It’s two bad games in a week pal, happens to the best of teams. They’ve still managed to beat all the top teams in Europe this season barring Forest
March 17, 2025 at 12:31 PM
No, put Vito on the phone assholes
March 12, 2025 at 10:01 PM
Depends on your outlook, there certainly were a lot of nukes around West and East Germany to protect each sides interests. But it was controlled by the yanks and Soviets. Even now still we could have France getting the final say over when they’re used
March 9, 2025 at 6:12 PM
An insult to the victims by asking him to be brought to justice? Have a hard look at what you just typed
March 5, 2025 at 11:50 PM
Did I expect him to be more subtle about how he went about it: yes. But at the end of the day Trump is an egomaniac with very little political savvy so of course he wants to flood the zone as much as possible before Europe and the dems re-organise
February 25, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Well project 2025 was published in 2023 so that should give you some indication. Also Trump has always been a Putin stooge, this was only surprising if you haven’t been paying attention.
February 25, 2025 at 1:52 PM
If that’s the case it’s poor forward planning because Trump has been saying he’d do this since before Labour won the election
February 25, 2025 at 1:46 PM
That was incredibly tacky but it was clearly the producers who made the call not the interviewers, they were clearly embarrassed.
February 3, 2025 at 12:11 AM
I’ll give you a hint, this is the man who liberals were mad Kamala didn’t pick for Vp over Walz
January 29, 2025 at 10:11 PM
C’mon I love IT but we have this conversation every year. I’m just happy the man is still doing what he loves
