i meant to come back to this and amend it but forgot. amidst all the disinformation being peddled i came across context i'd initially missed. i take back what i said, the research is indeed extremely valuable.

absolutely. i have studied meteorology and climatology since i was a kid. it's what i went to school for but the math requirement was too much for me. i'm terrified for the future of noaa and the nhc as i have good friends still working for both orgs, and there ARE areas that are already worse off.
