Tbf it is good that dc got the land. I don’t think it needs to be a stadium, but it definitely should be developed rather than sitting vacant.

Totally agree. Some people here and on reddit want to totally eliminate cars, or believe that cars are bad in all contexts. While the current dominance of cars on our roads certainly needs to be diminished, I do think cars serve an important niche.
