Nicholas Braun (Cousin Greg from Succession) played Andy Kaufman and Jim Henson.

TBH at first I thought his Andy Kaufman was cosplaying as Henson for a joke, but no, separate roles.

#MovieChallenge Week 18 complete with Wiener-Dog (2016) - SPOILERS/CONTENT WARNING BELOW

First 1/2 was god awful. Intermission was fun. Second 1/2 as bad as the first. Then they killed the dog, for no reason, in a gruesome way, then turned it into a joke. Fuck this film.

Proper “Sunday afternoon movie” about a traveling musician who decides to settle in a small town, building a life for himself as a scout master. Another Kurt Russell movie down

Was looking forward to this, but it never really got going, then it ended.

#MovieChallenge Week 16 complete with The Drug King (2018)

True story about a 1970's small time smuggler's path from the streets to drug lord. Obviously happened before the 80's Scarface movie came out, but didn't stop script/production from borrowing from it heavily

#MovieChallenge Week 16 complete with Superdad (1973)

Venturing into "Homework territory" on my quest to get 100% completion of Kurt Russell. Standard by the numbers Disney family film.

20th Kurt Russell movie of the year putting me on 62% complete (44/71)

Started this week’s #MovieChallenge with a 🔁 of Microwave Massacre (1983)

Fun sleazy schlock in which a man who, sounds like droopy dog while delivering Rodney Dangerfield-esque one liners, kills his wife because she’s a bad cook, then develops a taste for human flesh.

4th watch for #MovieChallenge 2025 - Week 14 was The Tower (2012)

The 3rd Korean movie watch this week. This was a fun take on Towering Inferno, with excellent special effects, skirting a fine line between slapstick and Final Destination levels of "new fear unlocked"

3rd watch for #MovieChallenge 2025 - Week 14 was my obligatory Kurt Russell viewing Tequila Sunrise (1988)

This did nothing for me. Weakest of the 18 Kurt Russell movies I've seen this year

No. 2 for #MovieChallenge 2025 - Week 14 was Beoning (2018) aka Burning

Intriguing slow burner that felt shorter than it's 2.5h running time. While I couldn't take my eyes of it, I felt a bit meh at the end. Ready to give it 3* until @piratedj.bsky.social found some great insights

First watch for #MovieChallenge 2025 - Week 14 was Ashfall (2019)

Korean fun, giving heavy The Core vibes in first 30 mins. A Volcano erupts causing a quake, they'll be 3 more eruptions, unless they send a nuke to re release pressure.

2nd viewing for #MovieChallenge Week 13 was a tenuous excuse of a rewatch - Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (1994) "SPINNING BIRD KICK!"

Enjoyed this on release 30 years ago. Wasn't expecting to enjoy this rewatch as much as I did. This holds up well. Recommended
