My friends and I are casual players and have been playing constantly for years. This is the first DLC we haven't bought. It just doesn't feel as good to play as it used to. Something is missing for us. I'm sure we'll eventually get it, but we're in no rush to jump back in at the moment.

It is true that they have dipped into themed cosmetics, but this one feels different. Weapon models and an inspired paid DLC... like Paul says in his article, it feels very "fortnite," which, to me, diminishes Destiny's unique identity.

As an older, casual gamer, this is very off-putting. Destiny has its own style and feeling that sperates itself from anything else I play. This... this is just reeks of corporate desperation.

I improvised a random guy at a galla event... now he's dating one of the PCs, and they take him EVERYWHERE. It doesn't help that he's also rich, so they make him pay for everything, haha.

Cursed Boots of Irresistible Dancing. +5 movement speed. Advantage on acrobatics checks. Ignores difficult terrain for snow, ice, and sand. 1/day reroll a Dex save. When attempting persuasion, deception, intimidation, or stealth - d100 20% chance that wearer will dance uncontrollably for 1 minute.

Fighting a monster while trying to get thru a portal to the Fey. Suddenly, unseen forces attacked the creature, freeing them to make it thru the portal. Later, they headed back from the Fey and emerged from the portal to the same fight and realized that it was them who saved themselves in the past.
