Not convinced it's raising taxes that'll do that - it's the fact nothing works. If they can fix education and healthcare then people don't mind paying more tax (within reason)

You know collective punishment is a war crime? You can't starve children because they live somewhere terrorists also live. You are siding with a war criminal

The platform that launched during Biden's presidency is evidence that Trump isn't a fascist and that some how Biden is? Give ya head a wobble mate
September 11, 2025 at 2:34 PM
You used to fight fascism too...

That's one hell of a statement. Care to elaborate?

However, they keep NIMBYing planning decisions to boost renewable power - and their transphobia is disgusting. I've voted green in the past but can't get over that

Ireland's GDP is a nonsense created by tax dodging and is not comparable

My beliefs are simple - that people deserve to live in dignity regardless of their 'luck' at good health. You seem to think that bad luck should result in death. I find that abhorrent
August 4, 2025 at 4:40 PM
You have no idea what other health related outgoings they are paying for. You also don't know if their health allows them to work.

No one was putting their work boots on the table - with my Nan it was always a brand new pair still in the box she would go nuts about

And yet teachers weren't given vaccine priority

But literally this death is avoidable - and for a relatively minor £200 per year of subsidised energy. I am more than happy for my taxes to contribute to the social security net that includes medical costs. I hope you never need to decide between life and death in your own family
August 4, 2025 at 9:35 AM
No, the things he is talking about are wind turbines. To be a wind mill you need to... Mill - eg. Flour
July 26, 2025 at 10:06 AM
Or if you are happy for the social and environmental costs of a 'real' diamond
July 22, 2025 at 5:52 PM
Then you plan on stopping opposition to power infrastructure that allows for solar and wind to be put in?
July 18, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Did you read the article?
July 17, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Easily outnumbered by the rest of them?
July 17, 2025 at 10:27 PM
I spend all my time, literally professionally and at home, with young people. Your generalisations are exactly that - young people are no more or less susceptible to online BS than Granny.

At least 5 years ago - I'll check in with our PPD teacher and get back to you
July 17, 2025 at 10:38 AM
What a load of crap
July 17, 2025 at 10:37 AM
You do know schools already teach this?
July 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM
The threshold is 80k not 100k. And if you're earning 80k you can survive without the £1.3k. altho you are correct it should be household not individual income
July 16, 2025 at 11:59 AM
Show them this - AC is cost effective, especially combined with solar
July 14, 2025 at 8:55 AM
Almost definitely the teacher said something along the lines of 'if you don't try hard/do homework/behave then you won't do well. The kid has forgotten the start of the sentence because that involved putting in effort
