I was curious about learning Chinese, and got a book on the subject.
Now I’m thinking, though, is it even viable to try at it through writing, or is it something that’s best to learn through speech… because of the disconnect between symbols and sounds.

I tested ClipStudio’s cloud sync. What was pretty neat was that I could easily transfer all my brushes from iPad to desktop.

Option to fix brush size to zoom
I propose an option in the “Brush Editor / Brush Tip” that allows a brush to stay fixed to screen size (not affected by zooming) as opposed to canvas size (current behaviour). It might make sense to have it visible in the quick tools as well. Alternatively this might work as a global toggle next to the size slider. This would allow temporarily switching this behaviour to all brushes, and not just specific ones. But I leave this for debate. The main use case for this, I believe, is ...

Ok, one more thing with #kde and #huion...
I had a really hard time adjusting my strokes because there was a little bit of offset from where the pen touches the screen and where the brush starts drawing. Maybe 8 pixels up and left.

So, I've tested the #huion Kamvas Pro 19 on four systems today..
1. Fedora KDE
2. #popos Cosmic
3. #ubuntu Gnome

I wish Blender documentation focused more on examples. Most geometry nodes don’t tell anything what you already can see on the nodes themselves.

I put an order for the 19 inch Huion drawing screen. See how well the touch works, and there are some things I can't really do on the iPad. Linux support should be good.

I checked Unity 6.2 on Fedora. The UI seemed to work better than 6.0, but they updated the dotnet SDK to something that's not available in Fedora repository. (9.0.112 to 9.0.200)

I can’t help but feel that Clip Studio is not the trailblazer it once was. There are so many little things that I feel if they had any motivation, they would’ve fixed them already.
Now that they are on subscription model, I wish they’d even have a roadmap of sorts.

It’s surprised me a bit how well Q’ud works with controller, after an hour of learning. I suppose it’ll take longer till I have much else to say! 😅
