There are new people that come on the Internet everyday. We’re not the only ones. And it’s important to have media literacy now more than ever. It’s important to know what adult is a predator now more than ever. And it’s important to know not to get caught up in groupthink NOW more than ever.

If we took our time, as a community, to understand what predators do (lily peet, ptaxx, nomnomnomi, James Charles, etc), we’d be a much stronger community, off and online. Proper education, basic common sense, and having legit good people to guide us can be hard but we can pave the way.

I think a lot of peoples morals get skewed when there’s a lot of groupthink, black and white thinking, and the fact that people are so protective of transwomen now. They don’t have to KNOW Lily to feel protective of her, ya know? But if they took the time, read about her and what she did…

It’s a weird twisted logic that a lot of tumble people have (cause I’ve only seen it on tumblr).

I recall that video and Josh specifically told them NOT to do that. The next video he made was about how he was disappointed in the people who went to go on and do that anyway, and he yelled at them.

I waited TWO MONTHS for her to give me evidence of Sai having a place for groomers in her discord. No harassment, just me waiting patiently, and even forgetting I sent that question. When she couldn’t provide that for me, she blocked me.
