Not to endlessly rake this muck, but what 'unspecified legal threats'? I presumably missed something, but the only legal threats I recall came from John Boyne himself.

Does @thejournal.ie have a style guide for this sort of thing because it looks quite bad tbh. It's one thing to say it's all very divisive and complicated, but 'gender critical' is a polite term for bigots shoving their ideology on an unwilling public and crying about being bullied afterwards.

If you say that and you're under 50 it's usually to avoid admitting you're right wing.
