Our school district apparently has a plan in place but I also know in our city my child’s school has welcomed a large number of immigrant children. I don’t even know what I will do if anyone tries to enter. What if they enter after school hrs? During an event? We have a police force. Will they help?

I have mentioned this before but whenever anyone bans a book or if an author is asked to not speak somewhere because “people” I immediately buy the book. I hope this summer to start a little banned book library.

I love this. Have always volunteered at my kids school libraries. And am in the planning phase for my very own Little Banned Book Library….collecting books (if someone speaks against a book I buy it) and designing the library. Should be up by summer 2025!

Going about as well as I expected. Which is to say terribly but not surprised. 4 years of chaos if not more.
