It's such a hard journey. For so long we've been told by society that we're worthless if not thin and conventionally attractive... even after losing a LOT of weight I was surprised how long it took me to feel like it was okay to exist.

Before you know it, if will be a crime to NOT own a Tesla.

I'm struggling really hard because we have so many fewer options here, but I'm trying. I'll definitely be thoughtfully trying to find reasonable alternatives before making any purchases.

Slow and steady budget cuts for decades combined with failure to backfill positions has left the agency already too understaffed to help the public in any reasonable timeframe. This is going to be disastrous for the people we serve.
