Obsessed with animals.
I also love games, books, and people!
I fished an isopod out of a pool Monday and while I was looking at it, it started throwing it back. They do this to shake off water, as they have (pleopodal) lungs near their rear that would otherwise be blocked by the water.

Chemistry (Rachael Sommers) 📚💙

4.5/5

Loved this book! It was very grumpy/sunshine vibes which I really enjoy; generally it seems like people are calling it an ice queen romance which is a new concept to me. The characters felt incredibly solid, even when they were making disagreeable decisions.

Fourth Wing (Rebecca Yarros) 📚💙

5/5

Don't get me wrong, Fourth Wing definitely has problems. However, I was absolutely enraptured. A fantasy world, dragons, every character a trope, academic, and romantic. It felt like something I had read before and yet also completely new, what a comfort read.

Neon Gods (Katee Robert) 📚💙

4/5

I really liked it. An interesting world with an exciting romance. It had been a while since I read a book (well, listened to an audiobook), and Neon Gods felt like a great way to get back into it. And dang were those scenes

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 📺

3/10

It wasn't for me. I didn't find the plot exciting, or the animation very nice (though no one can claim it didn't have style to hell). The best way I can sum it up is angst.

Squid Game (seasons 1-2) 📺

9/10

Watching people play death games is a very appealing concept. Following up on the insane success of s1 must have been very intimidating, but s2 remained exciting and new. I impatiently wait for season 3, because dang did it end off with a cliffhanger.

Arcane (seasons 1-2) 📺

9.5/10

What a wonderful show. Great characters, great world, and great story. The animation was wonderful, hell it had me half considering trying LoL (before I came to my senses). Ella Purnell voicing Jinx was so freaking good and now I want to watch everything she's in.

Berlin (Money Heist) 📺

5/10

I didn't want to be done with Money Heist, so I watched the prequel series. It was certainly a series. A lot of parts felt forced, and gosh did I hate some of the characters that you're supposed to be rooting for.

Money Heist (Seasons 3-5) 📺

7/10

I still enjoyed it, but the first 2 seasons felt like a perfect closed loop, so going into additional seasons I had low hopes. A lot of what felt perfect before felt kind of clobbered together. It was still fun, but comparatively pretty disappointing.

Money Heist (Seasons 1-2) 📺

9.5/10

I absolutely loved this show.
Its a war of minds (that don't make stupid decisions for plot convenience!), emotions, and violence, all under increasing time pressure and stakes.

Sometimes I try to go down a hall and find him at the end,
I always turn around.
I don't know how he got there,
Or what he intends to do to me,
But I never plan to find out.

Wanted to make a top 25 games 🎮 list, hard to pick specifically 25 but I'm pretty happy with what I ended up putting down.
topsters.org is very useful for this, they also have options for books/movies/shows, so I might end up doing some of those on a smaller grid

Today in public speaking class, I gave a speech on Remy Ratatouille. I made a chef hat for an old Halloween decoration to use as a prop :)
