Israelis’ hostile orientation towards Palestinians was also expressed across the outcome measures: participants in our sample reported experiencing strong negative emotions towards Palestinians, exhibited relatively low willingness to negotiate, low support for concession making, high support for collective aggression, and strikingly high acceptance of civilian casualties. On average, participants indicated that they would be willing to kill 575 Palestinian civilians in order to save the life of one Israeli soldier wounded by a Palestinian militant. The median for this measure in our sample was 990 Palestinians, and the modal response was the maximum value allowed (i.e., 1000 Palestinians, selected by 49.9% of the sample).

I don't think that's true. In the waning days of the DNC, they winnowed their ask to just having a Palestinian speaker.
Names were proffered with delegates agreeing to speeches that would be vetted & edited by the campaign.

Several names have been submitted and the delegates are well aware that every speech would be vetted and edited by the campaign and have agreed to that process. There are tens of thousands of Palestinian Americans. The DNC can find one person to speak. "Personal terrorism is a way of fighting that is acceptable under certain conditions and by certain movements," said Shamir. The Jews, stateless and persecuted, had no choice, he said. But the Palestinians are "fighting for land that is not theirs. This is the land of the people of Israel." Shamir was interviewed by army radio on the 50th anniversary of the founding of Lehi, the underground group in which Shamir fought British rule in Palestine in the 1940s.
