You see cam rips of movies all the time from around the world, but almost never of Japanese movies because people here actually follow the rules and don’t casually commit crimes like that. I would hate that to change about this country. I appreciate a society that actually respects the cinema.

Also, ofc, foreigners who wouldnt get in trouble doing this in their own countries might not understand the severity of the issue, which is happening more & more in general in Japan.

Now, I am under the assumption that foreigners are primarily engaging in this behavior, that Japanese are not the issue here. But I know for a fact 99.99999% of Japanese would never do such a thing. ESPECIALLY not post footage online in public. Any normal person here would be out of their minds to.
