I’m really trying to stay positive. The loss didn’t phase me (even great teams lose) but the Montgomery injury shook me. Just feels like they are doing everything right and the universe is against them! I will keep cheering though and hoping for the best…

That is a truly terrible week. I’m so sorry.

One of the best decisions I made was to start hiring a cleaning service before family visits or major entertaining. I’ll have to clean after but it’s only once (not twice) and it massively reduces my stress ahead of time. If affordable, so worth it.

I will say…the stores are full of all sorts of seasonal Christmas food right now and I would definitely miss the Christmas sandwiches and mince pies.

I generally think groceries are higher quality in Ireland but I also genuinely miss Trader Joe’s and their crazy seasonal fun.
