You’re exactly right here. I work in film and AI concept art is a plague. It locks in decisions that nobody has put any serious thought into.

Would this work for offline rendering?

You gotta up your contentless corporate platitude game.

Can this technique be extended to self shadowing?

Can you DM me the sorts of roles you are looking for?

I like how Ben has arms like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Beautiful presentation!

Is this grassman algebra?

Just want to clarify a couple of things. At what point in the routine do you tip your fedora? And in the mysterious leaving part, should I swish my long leather trenchcoat as I spin to depart? I don’t want to mess this up.

Thankyou. I scrolled a long way to find your post. I don’t think these are JE’s “insights” but his attempts to understand real science.

I have used it for when I am trying to remember a discreet set of things for some reason. It’s quite a lot of effort to “build” but once you have done it, it’s curious how long it persists even if you don’t need the contents any more.

Check out Huygens Optics on YouTube. It should answer your question.

This is the first time I have ever seen some of my depressing inner thoughts written out. So beautifully done too. Thank you Liam.

You finally figured it out huh?

That’s disappointing. When we are interviewing, the geographic location is the first consideration, not the last. Best of luck with your hunt. I’m sure something will work out soon!

Did they elaborate on the reasons?

If we were to linearly extrapolate your current rate of prizewinning, how long do you need to live to get to 7? Although I guess you might argue convincingly for some other curve function.
October 20, 2025 at 1:33 AM
lol I have never thought of it like this, but you are right!

I am kind of suspicious about the whole idea of planned obsolescence. I think 99% of the cases can be explained by either people not wanting to pay for high quality goods in the first place and secondly tech advances that are incompatible with older items.

That looks amazing.

This is how I read it.

It’s a classic trope of paintings often added to remind the viewer - “Memento Mori” - Don’t forget, you will die one day. The artist must have read that and thought “perfect! That’s going in my next Jesus picture”.

It’s not even close!

Heh that’s the one hammer that I would argue is mis-named. I would call it a soft hammer. It’s definitely not used for peening, but for installation. I probably own about 10 of the hammers on that chart including that one.
