Kleptoplastidy is just another example of how mindblowing nature can be! It's the ability of some marine organisms, probably mainly animals, to digest microalgae and STEAL functional plastids for some time so they can make use photosynthetic pathways from their prey. Hence klepto + plastid 🤯
