Finished Eva Baltasar's Boulder yesterday. One of those small books you can devour in a single sitting and will nurture you for weeks to come. So much brilliant use of negative space, and the lyricism here is so ripe it sticks your fingers to the page.

Wuthering Heights

One of those books whose classic status remains simply uncontestable. It puts everything on the line for the sake of Heathcliff's character, something that for lesser writers would directly translate into self-sabotage, but Brontë's careful touch just makes everything soar!
