In particular, people said they have left their car parked in public and come back to see single slices of cheese melted — and even “fused” — onto the vehicle.

The police have not shared any further information about whether the culprit was caught or charged with any offenses.
Several people said in the comments that their vehicles have also been on the receiving end of cheese-related shenanigans in the past few years.

The incident was “not gouda,” the police said.

A cheese chaser appears to be on the loose in the city, after chasing down a car this week and throwing cheese at the vehicle.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, the Eau Claire Police Department said it responded to what might have been the most Wisconsin complaint ever on Monday.

Fortunately, Wisconsin did not have to pay anywhere near the original tax/cash incentives originally promised since they were based mostly on hiring @juliemason.bsky.social
