Our justice system has gone so wrong when SCOTUS routinely without explanation overturns lower court decisions re POTUS. Now SCOTUS allows SNAP funds that were constitutionally appropriated and reserved by Congress to be kept from reaching hungry children. God have mercy on this benighted nation.

I'm rereading Schlingensiepen's bio of Bonhoeffer. The similarities between the young Baldur Benedikt von Schirach with the Nazi Student Federation in the 1930s and Charlie Kirk's work with Turning Point USA today are striking and deserve much study.

~3k friends of our constitutional democracy "marched" today in Davenport, IA. 90% of the busy traffic seeing us was supportive. BTW, if anyone says "we're a republic, not a democracy," inform them that the Latin & Greek roots (Res Publica & demos kratia) mean basically the same: "people power."

Much of the public, and apparently White House, doesn't know that many of the US military's general and flag officers are intellectuals. Study history and theory, get that war, politics, economics, and culture intertwine, etc.

In other words, speaker after speaker is committing blasphemy.
Speaker after speaker at this memorial is explicitly likening him to Jesus Christ. (Slain in early 30s, etc.)
Don't know how this goes over with people raised in other faiths.

Can someone describe for me what moral difference there is between "just killing" a homeless person, severing a voice box from a Fox idiot, or just allowing said idiot to blather on? Looks to me that each and their repercussions are morally monstrous.
Brian Kilmeade endorses euthanizing homeless people: "Involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill them."

SCOTUS was 1st envisioned as an institution that aspired to a unity of moral and legal leadership. That is no longer so. It leads only in the devolution of legal judgement away from once cherished Higher Law to the divorce of legalia from morality. Indeed, SCOTUS is now ambitiously immoral.

National Guard members vow to defend the Constitution. If ICE recruits do, it is clear that they break their vows by the minute. With Guard called in to assist ICE, as in DC, is it possible that some Guard integrity would openly conflict with ICE fascism? May I hope for that?
