Somehow the set leaves me with more questions than it answers. Was Murder Inc ever intended for EN? Where's a full band State Trooper? Where's A "My Father's House" that builds into a Racing in the Street type coda? Where's Clarence? I'm hungry for a deeper dive. #Springsteen /3

2) It's remarkable how these songs hold up, & how trenchant their messages are in these times. Even the outtakes speak volumes. "A Gun in Every Home" in particular. Broken characters w/ crushing debt & no hope battling the meanness of this world could be pulled from the headlines. #Springsteen /2
