I hope so!

I had almost 30 years with my own Middle-earth in my head before I lost it, and I’m thankful for that.

I mourned the loss of my own imaginings to Jackson et al’s vision for years, “until use and old age accept[ed] them.” My imaginary world is “gone beyond recall or desire.” But this is the result of generally excellent films, despite some regrettable changes and departures from the book.

Scumbags. Tolkien’s works will outlive them all. Orcish misunderstanding of “I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness.”
