Puyo clone!!! But I love the characters so it's okay... No Gaia, instead Uranus is here. It only has a few characters from 1, 2, 3 and Cupido's brother from URA is here too!!!

74. Battle Arena Toshinden (Gameboy) or Netto Toshinden
A Toshinden game that's not jank?! Fast?! On the Gameboy?! Anyways, it's a pretty cool one, I love all the extra stuff in it, it's essentially a more conclusive version of 1 since you actually fight Uranus after Gaia.
It even has a turbo mode.

It's BAT 2 but I don't see it as much of downgrade. I like the new characters and small cutscenes. I hate how all endings are basically the same.
Replicant's theme is so cool, I wish they properly released the OSTs somewhere.

This one is basically the PSX version but worse. At least, it has funny cutscenes in it and a cool (but crusty) intro. It really showcases the cast's personalities. I wish Cupido appeared in more games, I really liked her.

Ew. Like the BAT series is janky and all but this gotta be the worst playing one, there is no story too anyways. I love the animations kinda conceptually. The intro cutscene is pretty fun too. The series is dead now but I wish this one's newcomers werent stuck in it.

It's really good, I love the whole zoothrope/beast morphing gimmick. I can't say the cast is super memorable but they look cool. Especially Fox and Alice. Shoutout to Mitsuko tho, you don't see many strong middle aged women like her in those kinds of games I feel.

This is one of the coolest fighting games I've played. The gameplay's really weird but I love it forces you to stay on your toes.

Absolute cinema. (it's my 69th media but I decided to omit one of them, just pretend it is. It just works better that way.)
I was a defender of S1's style but here, it pops in a way that really does justice to the manga.

Absolute cinema. (it's my 69th media but I decided to omit one of them, just pretend it is. It just works better that way.)

They really stretched the beginning for a while, the twist was fun but easy to call out, could've been paced better. The new characters annoyed me aside from bird blind guy.
Otherwise, it was AMAZING. Great conclusion for Chris character-wise, it really got me at times.
