why not? i like the idea of a self optimizing, energy saving, sustainable smart machine that can remind me to load properly, to start it when it's cheapest, to do maintenance or troubleshoot issues. But smart doesn't equal connected to the internet. Locally smart is good. Internet connected is evil.
