I write. I shoot. I edit. Currently: on the hunt for what's next. Hit me up, let's make something weird sometime. #photographer #writer #Asheville
This machine keeps asking me to verify if I am human, but man...I don't even know anymore.

You tell me.

What the prez said about Rob Reiner's death was disgusting, but not half as gross as what will be said upon his own passing.

Oh. This got dark, fast.
Rob Reiner's son Nick was booked on a murder charge and is being held on $4 million bail in connection with his parents' deaths, the Los Angeles police chief said.

Oh, damn. This is a crusher.

Vital filmmaker of our time, and an advocate for all the right causes.

Thanks for everything, Rob.
Rob Reiner, the son of a comedy giant who went on to become one, himself, as one of the preeminent filmmakers of his generation with movies such as “The Princess Bride,” “When Harry Met Sally …” and “This Is Spinal Tap,” has died. He was 78.

Patience tested at the grocery store today. This, the one time of year everyone is looking for the one ingredient for the one weird thing they cook for everyone exactly once a year.

And no one can find a damn thing, but they'll gladly stand in your way.

Leaning heavily on my public library for some recent projects needing loads of research. Since no one in their right mind should deface a library book, I've kept an index card loaded with book darts as a defacto bookmark.

Simple, convenient.

Gmail, once an unprecedented leader in the email space (no ads? A gig of space? Holy 2004!) is now a bloated bit of junk.

Their recommendations of what emails are priority or need my attention is always wrong. And the new ad formats they push to the mobile app are unforgivable.

I just want email.

Haven't hit "publish" on something like this in a while.

A year ago my town, my neighborhood, the way of life we knew was completely washed out and away.

A year later, we still feel it.

Hurricane Helene – A Year Later
It is still raining this morning. Last night I drove home in the pitch dark in a downpour. The forecast ahead is that kind of uncertain where it’s never really going to clear up over the next few days...

Messed around with all the "wrong" settings yesterday. You can do anything you want with a camera, that's the nifty thing about it.
