This should go without saying, but it's okay if someone you don't agree with goes on a certain show or podcast. It's okay to be exposed to dissenting opinions. It's okay to feel uncomfortable. The biggest danger for the Democratic Party moving forward is the imposition of ideological purity tests.

I hope I can articulate this properly and without offense: Does this ridiculous hysteria about trans women being in bathrooms also seems to kinda reveal that people think men are just inherently dangerous around women?

To be clear: Fox News and right-wing commentators never stop commenting on problems in blue states - even if it's just made up nonsense.
We need to talk about the deep, deep challenges in rural areas for no other reason than people need to hear about it on a regular basis.
