The best books I read this year were by Elizabeth Strout, Rachel Khong, R. F. Kuang, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Victor LaValle, Erika T. Wurth, Cherie Dimaline, Annie Ernaux, Chuck Wendig, Nana Kwame Adjai-Brenyah, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, and Hua Hsu. Thanks to good writers everywhere!

As an avid collector of tacky and/or terrifying Christmas tree ornaments, I’m especially proud of this Addams Family acquisition. Except it wasn’t where I thought I’d put it, which means it can move on its own. 😬
