I work as a court reporter in a courthouse. Today a deputy I’m casually acquainted with started telling me a “funny” story about a trans person and I LOST IT. After apologizing to me profusely, he then told me he was confused why I would be upset. I’m not convinced we even live in the same country.

Same, the minute I saw that message with Trump mentioned I hit delete fast as shit 😂 and I don’t regret it. I found most of my people elsewhere

I’m a court reporter and today we were picking jurors for a trial. One juror said he didn’t think he could serve on a juror with women on it because women are bad and untrustworthy. And I DIDN’T throw my machine at him. I’m counting that as a win.

I’m focusing on what I can do to help. I’m paying close attention, building a huge garden, getting to know my neighbors a little better, and checking on the people closest to me. Also cut out meta apps, Amazon, and a bunch of other large corporations. Buying less in general.
