This is indeed correct, but 2800 people lost their jobs even with this support. Nationalising was mocked by all parties until Scunthorpe came about. There’s nothing misleading here, simply uneven priorities , that’s why many are furious.

Don’t get me wrong I’m happy for the Scunthorpe steel workers, but we were told to re skill and accept the fact manufacturing is on the way out, exactly the same as Scotland and then this happens. Beyond fuming

Been a Labour support most of my life, I’m done. Give us Plaid and a say in our own future, tired of Westminster treating us like second class citizens, every single time. From HS2, the crown estate, port talbot and on and on and on.
