Until the progressives get their heads out of their asses and realize they did a terrible job of selling Harris to people who were in the middle or on the right but filled with doubt about Trump, they're going to keep losing power. Because he's bad doesn't equate to "she can lead us."

So under Trump, research grants are being delayed, health agencies are no longer sending new alerts, we're out of WHO and Robert Kennedy jr is likely going to run the nation's health department, all in a country where most people can't afford healthcare. This should work out well.

Wasn't gonna watch anyway. So f**k off.

That's what I'd say.

I can't speak to the others, but I'm not reading Stallone's presence that way at all. He's always been open about being a lifelong Republican and he'd be there no matter who held the office because of the office, not the man in it. I doubt he's all in on facism.

I've struggled with mental health issues for decades. Posts like yours - no matter how well meaning - make things difficult by adding to the stigma of mental illness by associating it with violence. People with mental illness are more likely to be victims of violence than cause it.

And your definition of non functioning is " I don't like the results of the process, so it's broken." I'm not addressing the corruption or gerrymandering - that's been around for years. I'm talking about our criteria of majority vote rules. Well, majority rule chose Trump. Period.

All of those issues were in place years before this election, yet Biden still won because he had the most votes . This time Trump won reelection because, again, he got the most votes. That's democracy. Just because we stupidly chose a corrupt narcissist doesn't mean it isn't functional.

The people voted for Trump. (I personally didn't). He won the popular and electoral votes in a free election. Democracy functioned as designed. We screwed ourselves. When majority rules, the state isn't the problem, the people are. We had a better option and most people chose not to elect her.

This blanket demonization of the wealthy because they're wealthy is so hypocritical it's almost funny. There's nothing wrong with getting rich and anyone here who claims they wouldn't love it is full of s**t. It's about individual character, not monetary value.
