I am sure as God made little polkadot apples that this has nothing to do with him trying to woo a gorgeous Ethiopian model by the name of Iman, who dropped him to marry David Bowie in the 90s. He wouldn't hold a grudge for decades, would he?

2/ Here's one possibility: They'll "investigate" & let the public temperature on this go down. Then they'll find Pretti was, in Trump's words, an insurrectionist & the shooting was justified. That's not true, but they won't care & they control the timing & the investigation.
