It's fun to watch the ink slosh around. People do this with the Platinum Preppy - cheap, and all plastic. You want to avoid doing this with metal innards - potential corrosion issues. Also, obviously, no holes :) Watch a few videos and go for it. Not as risky as it sounds.

Since it's a pen for kids, this is about chocking hazards. Unfortunately also makes it impossible to eye dropper the pen without some modifications.

Thanks .. I have one of those but never used it on my Kawecos, might give it a try on one of Kakunos .. always nice to have options.
