I am really looking forward to the Superstars Writing Seminar conference next month. I know it will be great and I want to plan another conference for the fall if I can find one that looks good for me.

I'm think of writing projects today. I want to use this year to get a lot of them done. Planning what books to work on first and when I want to get they out by.

Trying to be mindful about what I want for my writing in the upcoming year. I have to consider my time involved as well as making time for writing output. Right now I'm contemplating conferences, book sales at craft fairs, and saving time for personal things that may pop up (like a new grandbaby).

I am trying to set my output and learning goals for 2026. I want to be sure to sprinkle some joy in there too.

The Gift of Today - Finding Peace in the Present Moment
This quote is a gentle nudge to slow down and notice the small things around you. Today may not look perfect. It may feel busy or scattered. The present moment is a gift. Let yourself open it.

If December Feels Heavy, Write Light.

Write softly, slowly, imperfectly.

Write without expectations.

Write to stay connected to the part of you that still believes in possibility.

Not every month is for breakthroughs. Some are for gentle creativity.

Finding Strength in the Struggle. This year has been a challenge for me personally, and yet I am finding ways to be thankful. I feel stronger and more focused. I also feel that these experiences have encouraged me to look toward the future with a clearer sense of purpose.

What Are You Proud You Finished?

Writers often forget to celebrate the work that did happen. What did you finish, or even attempt, this year that made you proud? Small wins matter. Share one thing you’re proud of, big or small.

A holiday reminder to honor the people who light up our lives. Real friends stay connected between the moments. They show up when it matters, even when miles or schedules get in the way. Take a moment today to appreciate the “stars” in your life.

You don’t need a perfect schedule to be a consistent writer. Habit stacking offers a simpler, more realistic way to stay consistent. Habit stacking means attaching a small writing action to something you already do every day.

Personality is not a straight line with the word "introvert" on one end and "extrovert" on the other. It is a broad, colorful spectrum with room for nuance, contradictions, and surprises.
