Not to mention the fact that if someone looks that much like Patrick Rothfuss, they probably *are* Patrick Rothfuss, even if you weren't expecting to pass them in a hallway in New York City.

I once saw Patrick Rothfuss out in the world and told him I enjoyed his work, and he sounded bewildered to say that I was the fifth person to recognize him that night.

Granted, we were at Waiting for Godot with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen at the time, so maybe the overlap was less surprising.😄
