Ah yes, EU data privacy regulations as a basis for American legal decisions.

Beyond youth, MBJ was, for a lot of people, the non-Vallas, non-Lightfoot candidate seen to have the best shot at keeping those two from office, and that’s not a stable base.

Met women in American Samoa who introduced themselves as aunt/niece and later found out they’d met 6 months before on tiktok.

I mean, Oct 7 could have been an actual existential threat for Israel if they hadn’t deterred Hezbollah and Iran from attacking simultaneously.

Israel in Gaza has been constant war crimes but it’s hard to argue that Israeli physical security hasn’t dramatically improved (in the near term).

Either they’re trying for regime change (wouldn’t be terribly surprising in light of the Argentinian bailout) or they just want to do the damage without much thought to the aftermath (wouldn’t be a surprise either).

Israel seeks neighbors too weak to confront them on the battlefield. Minimally armed and organized opposition prevents a perceived existential threat.

The US presumably seeks to reduce border crossings by those escaping an unstable Venezuela- this just exacerbates that issue.

If that’s the parallel they’re trying to achieve, the comparison seems to fall apart pretty quickly when you realize Israel’s motivation is the opposite of America’s in this situation.

Didn’t Illinois take ownership of like a quarter of this company from a privacy settlement earlier this year?

All I want is a “only play songs I haven’t heard before” option on my streaming music app.

Would not be surprised if the MJ jersey were the most popular single piece of clothing on the planet. Still pretty much universally popular in less wealthy areas of the world.

Oh no! MS-13 has taken root in Tuvalu!

Gonna have a chuckle when it turns out the new US Army AI warrior-drones are only capable of targeting white men.

This flag represents the typical driving experience in Illinois - thumping as if our tires were heptagonal sectioned.

(Despite constant construction at costs dwarfing spending on other transit options.)

Pretty worried it’s going to be this as their hammer against blue states across huge amounts of federal spending.
No medicare money to hospital systems that do transition surgeries.
No DoT money to states with sanctuary cities.
No DoEd money unless ______.

He should make sure Biden gets a gratuity in exchange for a pardon.

Or just a straight up bribe and have the bribe pardoned as part of the bribe.

As someone born with a "preexisting condition" my insurance still costs less today than in 2006 and is MUCH better.
I'm able to get healthcare without being employed by a corporation!
Sure, far from perfect (next step - public option!) but Obamacare is still lifechanging for me and many others.

I’m a big fan of Costa Rican “caldosa,” ceviche in a bag of chips (I typically saw it with fritos or doritos). Frequently available from vendors beachside.
