More airbnb cooking (odd cookware that doesn’t crisp up): shrimp marinated in fresh lime juice/garlic/olive oil and seasoning (cayenne/smoked paprika/salt/pepper), roasted cauliflower and steamed rice (no measuring cups so I use a mug and figure out the ratios, more or less).

Last night of airbnb cooking for a few days. Chicken breast from the farmers market (I took the skin off to make crackers; marinated the chicken in lemon/rosemary/olive oil/garlic), roast potato/sweet potato/cauliflower, sautéed kale/onion/chile.

More Durham airbnb cooking ... Local catfish, bok choy (cooked w/green onion, fresh ginger & fresh turmeric) & steamed rice (steamed w/turmeric & ginger to give a flavor/color boost). A little sauce that I threw together w/tamari & some spices I picked up last week. (Cross post)

4th night cooking in Durham and i stumbled into a version of the Persian dish, meygoo polo. Local shrimp with a combination of rice and buckwheat (check out the tahdig!!!). Just riffing and when searching saw I was an ingredient or two from meygoo polo. Maybe when I’m home …

More Durham cooking. Tonight was surf (local tuna and drum) and turf (last of the bison) along with roasted Yukon golds and honey nut squash and some fresh salad greens. Last night was chicken with buckwheat groats and salad.
