So now that you have given up on your made up scenario, you say the defender is always liable for failing to dodge a slowing or swerving attacker in the box?
Not that they acted recklessly or carelessly like in the rule, but that merely failing to avoid an attacker making contact is a foul?

The Vancouver attacker crosses from the left side of the defender to the defender's right. Both are running.
This is really easy to see because one of them is moving parallel to the side of the 18 yard box and one is moving toward it.

Worth a try for sure. I am not convinced by Teuchert's passing to play as a 10, but Hartel freezes at the top of the 18 yard box too often. So, maybe.
I do prefer Löwen as far forward as possible so agree on the 8.

But do you like Löwen at 6, 8, or from that brief halcyon moment... 10? 10 makes no sense now with Hartel, but do you keep him as the left sided 6 he wants to play now?

Think we have entered the stats sophistry zone now. Swapping out DP forwards is never the quick fix fans hope it will be even if it seems easier than fixing a broken system.

Does this stat reflect things like how the three chances to score one goal at the end of the last game could only result in one goal even if the first two had high xG?
