Texas is a power grab, and California is a temporary leveling of the playing field.

What is your point? Authoritarianism is not worth opposing?
August 23, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Actually, it's a response to a power grab.
August 23, 2025 at 8:44 PM
I'm pretty sure suppressing the democratic vote in Texas is the democracy-killing I think it is.
August 23, 2025 at 8:42 PM
You vote for the one exposing Trump's idiocy.
August 20, 2025 at 11:51 AM
Works for me. Mirroring Trump shows how ridiculous his tweets are. Criticizing Newsom's tweets is criticizing Trump.
August 20, 2025 at 11:49 AM
If it's not a good look, why did you cons do it? It's possible to have tons of experience at doing a bad job. Trump is the prime example.
August 13, 2025 at 6:04 PM
I think you're lost. The trolls are on Facebook.
July 21, 2025 at 5:56 PM
And their descendents are now the republicans. How ironical.
July 21, 2025 at 5:53 PM
Law enforcement my ass.
July 21, 2025 at 5:48 PM
No problem. Your opinion is not important to me either.
July 20, 2025 at 1:59 PM
I did look up your article, all of it. No smoking gun there. I saw no evidence that Chomsky is a pedifile or believes in genocide, only insinuation based on Chomsky's financial dealings with him. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you haven't shown any real proof.

The fact that Bondi is a
fucking liar has nothing to do with Musk, other than that he is also a fucking liar.
July 13, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Genocide is now a "technical error."
July 13, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Yes, but hopefully, the next 50 years won't bring a great depression, a World War, and a cold war.

57% of California forests are on federal land and managed by the federal govt. If we're talking incompetent governors check out Texas.

I've subscribed to the NYT for decades and worked for TWP before Bezos. No longer read either since they caved to fearless leader.

I don't disagree, but sometimes, when it comes to social change, it can seem impossible until enough people come together. We can't change the past. As you said, the results of our actions can't be changed, but united with others, sometimes the impossible becomes possible.
July 3, 2025 at 11:15 PM
I guess I'm still missing your point. What does that have to do with trying to change what
I can't accept?
July 3, 2025 at 1:25 PM
If I can't control my own actions, then what is the point of acting? I may not be able to predict the results of my actions, but I do have the free will to act. Also, who exactly decides what is not possible for me to change? Does the universe decide?
July 3, 2025 at 2:00 AM
This is not an either or choice. I will continue to try and change things I can not accept until I'm sure change can not be accomplished.
July 2, 2025 at 5:33 PM
They may not be the same fruit, but they are both "Strange Fruit".
June 29, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Both are atrocities, not fruit.
June 29, 2025 at 5:08 PM
How good presidents are is decided by their actions and results, not by who voted for them.
