They get 3 challenges, but if they are successful they don’t lose the challenge. Essentially, they get 3 incorrect challenges throughout the game. Not sure if MLB will implement that, or do something a little different.

The minor leagues have used the challenge system the last couple of seasons and it is actually super quick. They have the correct call within 10 seconds of the challenge. It is great.

I appreciate the reply Derrick. At the very least, it makes me happy that they no longer feel the need for salary relief. I assume the certainty of the TV deal and the Missouri sports betting outcome have helped immensely. Now they can make moves for baseball reasons, not just to trim payroll.
