An old carpenter who gets more snarky. Lefty, hefty and sometimes crafty.
To paraphrase "the problem with governing by rage reactionism, is eventually you run out of rage targets". Its tiring seeing civil governance waylaid by screaming rage badgers, but they monopolize the agenda with their furious hooting.

Why does it feel like Elon spent a lot of time by himself as a child? We have tools that could work on solving humanities problems, and its used to stroke insecure billionaires egos.

It does sound like the Bannon trick of flooding the zone with shit. People won't read the backup article, and the assertion about the tanker ban will become the truth.

When the programming and training of an Ai chat bot is handled by 4chan edge lords, with no oversite, this is what you get.

These statements are lay a framework which allows the UCP to ignore an outcome that doesn't allow them carte blanche. The pushback can be portrayed as overly emotional, that cooler heads want to betray our nation.

The sask party did this with Saskatoon ridings. I lived in north saskatoon and was part of a riding that included Rosthern 90 km away. My former riding has voted sask party since, and one groups grievances trump all.

The UCP are culture war provoceteurs. Bike lanes, book banning, and pronouns. These "issues" are used against their ideological opposites, to keep them from fighting against the issues of corruption rampant in the UCP government.

These fools would be laughable, if they weren't so dangerously inept. What form of electoral reform would they blunder into? Definitely not anything like proportional representation, more likely consolidation of power in their strongholds. Railing against a monarch in 2025. Truly strange times.

Their economic plan is like a script from the Alberta produced movie "Oil Field of Dreams"

No one has ever accused the APP and UCP of having foresight.

This is more culture war horse pucky from a party that specializes in division. These issues are low hanging fruit to keep the anger flowing against progressive policies.

I agree with you totally! Far too many hot takes and not enough nuance on social media. A symptom of our over stimulated brains I guess, we can't concentrate long enough to delve the depths of issues.
