There are family I grew up with that I literally don’t have any connection with anymore. I don’t spend any time with MAGA family members. It’s sad but hey, they chose Trump over family.

I may need to move back to LA for a rest. Not nearly as much going on in LA and you have to drive 2 hours to get to anything. Chicago is kicking my ass.

Walkability to TJs and other grocery stores was one of the primary criteria for buying my condo. I’m half a block from Trader Joe’s and Jewel Osco. Soon to be just a bit further to Aldis.

I used to go to Target 1 or 2 times a week. I haven’t gone since early 2025. So far, I’ve managed fine without them. They clearly don’t share my values anymore.

The last time I went to an in network hospital emergency room, the treating physician was out of network so my insurance refused to pay. There is a law that prevents this but it doesn’t apply to companies or governments that are self insured.
