I mean, fwiw, the fact that immediately after "broadly correct", he specified that not all online leftists are tankies sounded, at least to me, like a pretty clear statement that he would NOT characterize the left in general that way.

my time (4:16) was not as good as last year (4:50), but I’ve been having some back issues lately and everyone else was like 10-15 years younger than me, and going in I was just like “I just don’t want to be the first person to stop”, so I’m still pretty pleased!

there are two sessions for the competition; basically on the next day (monday) they’ll measure that day’s winners’ time against mine to determine the champion. I am also free to compete again that day if I want and try to beat my own time, which I might do but we’ll see

yeah, I am generally a “maybe not dressed up but at least put-together and maybe a little dressier than usual” person for flying, but that has now been overridden by “fuck these guys”

[PLEASE no advice; I have gotten plenty already. I have tried lots of things, am still working on it, and am hoping to have the budget next month to consult a local behaviorist that my vet recommended. this is just me tired and frustrated (and kind of hormonal) and venting.]
